PNCC is funded by NIH funds to provide no-cost access to CryoEM microscopy and training. Anyone in the global scientific community can apply, however all applications are reviewed by peer-review. We leverage the EMSL User Portal, so your institution would need to have an Institutional Non-Proprietary User Agreement in place (https://www.emsl.pnnl.gov/basic/emsl-user-agreements/1237) if they don't have one already.
In addition to that, PNCC requires a Use and Access Agreement after proposal approval with the submitting PI and participants in order to schedule time on our microscopes (https://pncc.labworks.org/access/required-scheduling). This agreement states that 1 year after closure of a proposal, all data is made public access per NIH's requirement. The 1 year is to give time to make a publication on the data before it is made public. Check with your institution's legal department to see if this agreement works for your institution.
Once you have confirmation there, you can apply to our center with a proposal. https://pncc.labworks.org/access.
If you are interested in Proprietary Agreements, we do work in the same facility as OHSU's Multiscale Microscopy Core (https://www.ohsu.edu/multiscale-microscopy-core) who might be able to assist you.
