The aim of PNCC is to educate our users to be independent. This proposal type is intended to informally train Screening Access users during one consecutive on-site visit to Portland, OR. This required visitor will experience what it takes to undergo thorough screening at PNCC. The goal of these proposals is to guide user groups to the point of data collection, so that users can submit a General Access proposal. With a General Access proposal, this group can then request to attend our Sample Preparation workshop and learn to prepare samples themselves.
PNCC will be providing housing assistance for approved Screening Access proposals with travel arrangement going though the user office. One user from the award is eligible to receive up to a six-night stay at a local hotel of PNCC’s choosing. Any expenses incurred outside of this travel supplement is the responsibility of the users and their Institution.
